On Tuesday the 29th of November my husband Darrell was involved in the IHHC Inaugural Culinary Competition, with Alastair McLeod as M.C and 3 other industry they were judged on three different categories, 1. Organisation, 2. Culinary Skills and 3. Taste and Presentation,

Trisha the Client Services Manager was married on Morten Island, Tangalooma, Service Coordinators Tara and Katina attend the wedding.

Samantha Newcombe has completed her Certificate IV of Individual Support and Aged Care. Congratulations!

Tim Phelps has started his Certificate IV in Disability and Mental Health, he has to complete his 120 hours of placement hours.

Bendigo, Victoria
Bendigo office staff, Kristen, has seen her first nephew come home after being born at 31 weeks old! He spent 2 months in the NICU and Special Care Ward and is now healthy and happy at home with Mum, Dad, and their two-family dogs. A big welcome home to Hendrix!

Bendigo is prepared for Christmas with the town’s Christmas decorations on full display at Rosalind Park.

We had Christmas Craft Day for our Participants. They have made heaps of Christmas decorations for our office.

Gold Coast, Queensland
Everyone from the Gold Coast office had a lovely time celebrating the year at our annual Participant and Support Worker Christmas Party.

Everybody had a wonderful time sharing a meal together before finishing the afternoon with a guest appearance from Santa.

In the Santa picture we have one of our Support Workers Ben Frager with Participant Marinda Tatnell.

Brisbane North, Queensland
Support Worker Christmas Party– We had nibbles and Barefoot Bowles, Staff enjoyed getting silly awards and their Christmas gifts. We had a friendly competition and we had two winners Joanne and Monica photos.

Participants Christmas Party– Everyone met at Club Pine, and we enjoyed lunch and games. Our Participants loved getting Christmas presents and seeing all of our other Participants.

We had our CNHC Victoria Christmas Party on Friday 2nd December with our Support Workers and Participants.

Disability Expo!
On the 25th and 26th of November, Rifat, Kristen and Jessica, attended one of Melbourne’s biggest Disability Expo’s of the year, where we met other organizations, rekindled connections, learnt what is out there for Participants and how we can come together to assist in every opportunity, every day.

Say Pride, Say Pet! – Pride Centre Pet Mascot Competition
Company Director Renata Roberts attended the event on Sunday 6th of November at the St Kilda Pride Centre to show support for the LGBTIQ Community on behalf of CNHC, who donated to the community.

For this doggo competition, the winning pups were Calypso and Blitzer who are K9’s who work with Autistic Children as their full-time job!

Congrats to all the pups that entered and participated.

Disability Expo in Bendigo hosted by SportzRulez Australia
Rifat and Kristen attended on the Friday the 2nd of November, this was the first expo for Bendigo since before COVID-19 and it was an amazing experience with meeting everyone in the industry around Bendigo and see just how large the disability community is and how many people and organisations are out there to assist!

Hobart Christmas Party 2022
CNHC Hobart had our Annual Support Worker and Participant party on Thursday 8th December 2022.
We’d like to thank everyone who came to help us celebrate and enjoy some good food, games, and music.

We played a few rounds of Christmas Bingo with the winners getting a special treat, we had a gingerbread house decorating contest, with the winner also getting a prize.

Big thanks to Alysia Kamaric and Casey Arnold for organising a wonderful afternoon! And also, a big thank you to Kalvin who stayed behind to help us clean up.
