Celebrating Together Across All Branches

Complete Care kicked off the year with a series of exciting New Year Gatherings, held across our three branches.

Werribee

On the 17th of January, the event took place in Werribee which brought together our support workers, participants, and the office staff. These gatherings provided a chance to celebrate the start of the year, share laughs, and strengthen connections in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.

For the Bundoora branch, it was held in Thomastown on the 31st of January.

Each gathering was filled with fun and engaging games, where both participants and support workers joined in on the excitement. Even the Director, John, got in on the action, participating and enjoying the light-hearted competition.

BENDIGO

The Bendigo gathering, held on the 29th of January, was a small and intimate event, yet it was filled with memorable moments and provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better.

It was truly heartwarming to see everyone—from staff to participants—coming together and sharing in the joy of the event.

We’re excited to carry on this tradition and look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate and strengthen our wonderful Complete Care family.

Star of the Year 2024

Midya Jajo

Midya Jajo

“Hello im Midya. I’ve been working for CNHC for about 4 years and it’s been great. Met lots of amazing people along the way. There’s been fun times and also sad times working here. Through it all I’ve learnt a lot of good life skills and how to manage everything better. I’m so dedicated to helping clients out that it’s hard for me to say no sometimes to shifts at this point.

I try my best to make them all happy.”

Participant’s Story

Connie and Jessy

Our participant, Connie, and her support worker, Jessy, had a
wonderful time bonding over arts and crafts.

Jessy brought a variety of craft supplies to lead a creative session with Connie, and it turned out to be both enjoyable and therapeutic for them both.

Connie usually participates in group sessions where she enjoys similar creative activities, but this time, Jessy brought the experience directly to her, providing a personalised and meaningful form of therapy.

Art and crafts

It’s always inspiring to see the positive impact of creativity and support!

February – Cristel Surigao

“My name is Cristel and I’d been blessed to do this wonderful job of being a support worker under Complete Nursing for more than 1 and a half years now. I may say that it is far from my wildest imagination that I would end up doing this kind of work. At first, when we got here in Australia; just like any other immigrants, things are all brand new and I don’t know what to do. That’s why I am very thankful with Complete Nursing. The company gave me the opportunity that I need to start our lives all over here down under.

Hobbies: I love to watch documentaries especially crimes thrillers and the like. Also loves to travel and binge to watch Game of Thrones, House of the dragon and Big Bang Theory.”

Cristel Surigao
Fun fact: I joined several Singing Contest in the Philippines growing up. Primarily, it was due to the prodding of my mother. 😁
