On the 15th of October, Complete Nursing celebrated a very special milestone.

Seeing clients and support workers enjoying the day together reminded us why we do what we do. These moments of joy, support, and community are what have shaped us over the last decade.
Thank you to everyone who came along, shared a smile, lent a hand, or simply celebrated with us. Here’s to the next ten years of growing together, caring together, and continuing to make a difference – one day, and one person, at a time.
What made the day truly meaningful wasn’t just the number, but the people who filled the room: our incredible clients, support workers, families, and team who have been part of our journey.
The celebration felt more like a big family gathering than an event. Everyone jumped into the activities – from cookie and canvas painting, to a very lively round of bingo, and even some well-deserved massages that everyone loved. There were plenty of laughs, colourful cookies, masterpieces in the making, and moments of connection.

During our 10th Foundation Day celebration, Geoff truly impressed everyone with his artistic talent.
He spent the day creating a vibrant painting, a warm sunset scene with bright orange and yellow tones glowing over calm blue water, complete with silhouettes of birds flying across the sky. The colours blended beautifully, showing a great eye for detail and creativity.
Not only did Geoff paint this stunning piece, but he also decorated a frame himself, adding personal touches that made the artwork even more special. In the photos, you can see how proud he is sitting beside his finished work – and rightfully so!
In the photo, you can see Geoff deeply focused as he works on blending warm sunset colours, surrounded by the young helpers, Kylie and Ruby, who led the session with so much enthusiasm. Their encouragement and energy helped bring out the best in everyone, and Geoff especially thrived in that environment.
His final artwork, a beautiful sunset scene over the water, complete with birds in flight, captured everyone’s attention. The colours were vibrant, the details were thoughtful, and his confidence grew with every brushstroke.
It was wonderful to see Geoff express himself creatively and enjoy the moment. We can’t wait to see more of his artistic journey. 🎨

On a bright, sunny morning on the 18th of October, our participants headed into the skies for another unforgettable joy flight.
As they flew over Melbourne, they were treated to breath taking views of the city skyline, getting up close to the towering buildings and iconic landmarks from above.

The experience gave everyone a fresh perspective and plenty of awe and wonder. It was one of those days filled with big smiles and genuine excitement, the kind of experience that sticks with you.
We love being able to offer moments like this – moments that brighten someone’s day, build confidence, and invite a little adventure into their lives.

The table was filled with delicious food, bright yellow decorations, and thoughtful R U OK? messages that encouraged us to pause, listen, and support one another.
Everyone gathered around, shared a laugh, and took photos together, but most importantly, we took the time to check in. A moment to ask “Are you really OK?” and to remind one another that help, understanding, and compassion are always close by.

This year for R U OK? Day, our team came together in the office for a meaningful morning tea, a simple gathering that reminded us how powerful connection can be.

R U OK? Day is more than a single event, it is a reminder to keep these conversations going all year round. Thank you to everyone who joined in and brought positive energy (and big smiles!) to the morning.
Let’s continue looking out for each other, one honest conversation at a time. 💛
We gathered for our Staff Appreciation Night on the 18th of September, a special event dedicated to celebrating the incredible work, dedication, and heart our support workers bring every single day.
This year’s event also aligned with R U OK? Day, giving us a meaningful reminder to check in on one another, keep conversations open, and support each other not just as colleagues, but as a community.

The night kicked off with delicious canapés and relaxed conversations as everyone settled in, reconnected with familiar faces, and made new connections across the team.
The real highlight of the night? The games! Everyone brought out their competitive spirit with rounds of darts and shuffle table, cheering each other on and enjoying some light-hearted rivalry. It was fantastic to see everyone having fun, letting loose, and simply enjoying each other’s company outside of work.
Thank you to all our support workers who joined us. We appreciate you, and we look forward to celebrating together again next year!
DIFFERENCE, ONE STEP AT A TIME
Since its establishment in 2016 by Complete Nursing and Home Care, Benevolent Health has been dedicated to supporting communities in need.

Recently, we partnered with Rotary Eltham to support Learning Cycles, an initiative that provides children in rural Cambodia with bicycles to help them access education. Through trusted NGOs, children living more than 5km from school receive a bicycle and helmet, ensuring they can safely travel to school. To date, over 200 bicycles and helmets have been provided, empowering children with the freedom and opportunity to learn.
As part of our ongoing commitment, we are now inviting contributions through our open donation drive – every donation, big or small, helps make a difference.
Your support can help us continue these meaningful initiatives. Consider donating today and be part of a brighter future for people in need.

Hello, I’m Shiela Mae. I’ve been a member of Complete Nursing since April 2019, and it has been a truly enriching experience to work alongside such a supportive and engaging team.
Collaborating with a diverse range of clients and colleagues has imparted invaluable lessons that have significantly contributed to my holistic growth. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking for my loved ones, playing Scrabble, and catching sunsets whenever possible.
A fun fact about me is that on my days off, I tend to wake up around midday and indulge in watching crime series, action movies, documentaries, or political shows while enjoying brunch.
Additionally, I practice gratitude daily through prayer, as I believe it has the power to transform the world. Embracing gratitude allows us to find beauty amidst chaos, experience light in darkness, and recognise goodness despite evil, ultimately turning us into purposeful advocates of positivity.

Hi, I’m Jessy! I’ve been with Complete Nursing for many years in a variety of roles, and I love the amazing people I get to work with every day.
I enjoy learning new things, sharing laughs, and truly treasure the time I spend with the individuals I support. I can see my self working in this field for many more years to come. It is a rewarding experience.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me catching up with friends, dancing, hanging out with my dog, or getting lost in documentary shows, horror movies and chick flicks. I also enjoy spending time in the nature, especially somewhere near water.
Fun fact: I’m passionate about rescuing greyhounds! I’ve adopted four since 2016 and love joining walking groups to connect with fellow greyhound fans.
